Description
The tube feeder is equipped with a very small opening that allows the needle to be inserted and the food to be administered through the syringe. This solution avoids the risk of ants escaping.
In addition, the ants are not stressed during feeding because we do not change their conditions by suddenly airing the tube.
The product is available in a 0.5mm and 1.0mm thick needle variant.
The smaller version is suitable for colonies such as Myrmica, Formica or smaller Camponotus.
The larger opening will be ideal for larger Camponotus species such as Ligniperda, Maculatus, Herculeanus or Nicobarensis.
